Wednesday night TV (Enterprise, West Wing, Smallville and Angel
Excellent episodes all-araound,
those that were new anyway...
Smallville - A
non-kryoptonite-powered antagonist... /gasp This episode gave glipses
into a very dark February to come... Lex was solid AND he is definitely
becoming LEX. Lana's character is written better for when she is
w/ Adam then Clark. Chloe is still the only character able to show
believable emotion (and she showed lots of it last night). Adam
is not going to be Bruce... it just feels wrong now (the trailer
for last week shows him doing something that I personally don't
imagine as being part of the mythos of the Dark Knight... I could
be wrong, this is after all the WB). I was really happy watching
Molly was neat, but how'd
she slip into Luthorcorp? I mean we know they don't have ANY well-placed
security cameras, but do they not have ANY security at all? This
is the Luthors'... Gah...
It had been awhile and
I had to bitch about something.
So I'm still teeter-tottering
on Adam=Bruce... Is he shooting up with some blue-liquid in the
teaser for next week or not? Is that a 'deal breaker' for him being
Bruce? I thought it would be, but after I thought about it again...
even if Adam is Bruce, he isn't yet Batman so maybe he has 'experimented'
or something... with weird blue drugs... performance enhancers?
Angel - Way dark.
Buffy tie-ins to boot (damn SMG for ditching the fans and Angelcast/crew).
Even without SMG the episode was rock-solid and stayed on track
with the 'theme' of the rest of the season!
Enterprise - an
original take on Ye Olde Future-trip... with interesting visuals
and alternative futures. Pretty cool stuff
West Wing (repeat)
